Several more views on the Quicken's sale by Intuit. It adds to the cloudy picture for the future of desktop personal finance software.
Quicken still makes ~$50 million a year, which is a decent sum. Considering the relatively small amount of changes is added to the program per year, it should be possible to find someone who would continue doing the same.
Nonetheless, I'd actually prefer if they simply open-sourced it. That would give rise to slimmer version at some point in the future.
